Omaha has always been a favorite place where my friends and I go to get away from the busy city life. While I enjoy a good steak every once in a while, our favorite restaurant is Dinker's Bar. It serves possibly the best hamburger that I have ever put in my mouth. They are very large, and the juice runs from the sides of the burger as it sits on the bun. This is what I classify as a delicious burger. Servings are big enough that I usually take something home. Dinker's also serves chicken Sandwiches that are amazing. When you toss in the homemade onion rings, you have a meal that will have your taste buds asking for more. As you enter the restaurant, you will see a counter in the back. This is where you order your food. Then, you go to the bar area to order your drink. It's advisable not to go on Saturdays or Friday evenings as the restaurant can get very busy. It is located off the Interstate, so there are a lot of different types of people who come to the establishment. This makes it a fun place to make new friends and find out about other attractions in the area. One of the things that I don't like about Dinker's is that credit cards and checks are not accepted, so you need to have cash on you in order to pay for your meal. The Haystack burger is a treat if you like something a little different as it has ham and a fried egg in addition to the burger. There are daily specials as well as items that are more affordable than others. The best part about ordering a hamburger or sandwich here is that you can get just about anything on it you can think of, including fresh vegetables. After your meal, you can enjoy a nice glass of cold beer at the bar while you talk to others in the restaurant.
