The o2 diet is easy to follow and consists of eating foods that are high in antioxidant content. Calories are not counted, and there are not any restrictions on the amount of food that is eaten. The diet begins with a four day cleanse that is followed by a four week diet. The foods that are eaten are fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and natural foods. The goal of this diet is to eat foods that add up to 30,000 ORAC points, which are the measurement of the antioxidants contained in the foods consumed. Some of the recommended foods include nuts, avocado, chicken breasts, berries, mango, papaya, broccoli, spinach, whole grain breads, soy milk, cottage cheese, lean meats, red wine, green tea, organic Greek yogurt and Dark Chocolate.
