Besides animal containment, they can be used around gardens; in fact, a panel makes a terrific support for peas as they are strong enough to withstand the weight of the vines. Panels hooped and secured to the ground by t-posts and covered with a tarp can provide adequate, temporary housing for any type of animal. Hooped and secured and covered with clear plastic, they can also create a temporary cold frame for the gardener.
