If you are Franchising an existing shop, you may luck out and have a few managers and other employees who will stay on. If not, you will have to hire employees. It is necessary that you find qualified, trustworthy managers to run the shop. You cannot be there 24/7, you need to live a life also. It is to your advantage to hire managers and employees who are going to show up every day.

Before you even get to do anything about hiring employees, you need to attend training classes at Circle K Donuts training center. Training classes are the lifeblood to franchising. You will literally make the donuts and you will learn all about the paperwork necessary to run a shop. Making the donuts at the training classes can be a lot of fun, but once in the real world it will become a chore after a while.

Circle K Donuts provides manuals and instructions necessary for their franchising operations. They hold meetings for the franchise owners and there are always corporate training classes and other help available to franchise owners.

Once in the franchising end of a donut shop, you are your own boss. That does not mean that you can show up an hour a week and expect things to fun smooth. You need to be there to set an example for your employees. You need to be there because it is your bottom line that you have to worry about.
