I would say just Fitness is as good as any other. The key with Fitness and or weight loss is to pick a program and follow it to a tee and don't forget proper nutrition while taking on any program.
You can start by reading the labels on foods and at resturants asking for the nutrition information on your meal. You can easily look up the food pyramid and search what is the correct amount of food and what type of food you should be getting. If you are overall still worried about getting proper nutrition you can go see a nutritionist and they will help you manage the food you consume and tell you what you need more or less of.
