Step 2: Storage and Display

Like any collection, you will need to display and sometimes store your teddy bears. You could use many different things for display, depending on what’s available to you and what kind of budget you have. It could be anything from an old modified bookcase to a custom shelf system built into your living room to show off your priceless and unique collection with pride. Whatever the case (no pun intended), you should make sure the display surface is kept clean; you should regularly dust it and periodically give it a good cleaning with a solution that won’t harm the bears. When you need to store your precious bears, you should invest in some large, dark, heavy-duty plastic bins. Also, you might want to get packing peanuts to keep the bears from crushing each other. Don’t get clear plastic bins, because you run the risk of the bears becoming sun bleached.

Once you’ve assembled your collection of teddy bears, you can proudly display them to all your guests and friends. Keep adding to your collection and who knows what may happen. You could eventually sell them to another collector and gain a lot of money, or you might even be able to open your own museum!
