Children’s swimming costumes often come in a choice of two pieces or one piece. How can you decide between them? Deciding which one will be right for your child from all the kid’s swimwear can be overwhelming.
-Step 1: Age
If your child is young, a two piece may be better. This requires less fuss when they need the toilet. Instead of having to almost completely remove the costume, they need only pull down the bottom half. In older children, this may not be a concern, although it is still likely to be easier in a two piece.
-Step 2: Comfort
A two piece may be more comfortable for a child to wear and easier for them to put on by themselves, but some two pieces are not ideal for the beach, as they can trap sand and cause irritated skin.
-Step 3: sunburn
A two piece that covers the stomach too is good, but if the two-piece leaves some of the stomach exposed then sunburn is possible. Children need to be protected from sunburn and it is important to take this into consideration when choosing kid’s swimwear – coverage is good.
-Step 4: Reliability
Finding your swimming costume when the warmer weather starts is often difficult, but finding both ends of a two piece costume can be difficult. You could end up losing one piece and not the other, something you are unlikely to run into with a one piece.
-Step 5: Growing
If your child is likely to grow a lot over the next year, a two-piece might be better. It is more likely to fit if your child grows a bit bigger as it has some extra room, a swimming costume will soon become very uncomfortable if your child grows.
There are many styles and options available to choose from in kid’s swimwear, and while a two-piece might be right for one occasion it might not be for another. Perhaps it is better than to get one of each, to cover all situations.

The traditional costume worn by Filipino Igorots is called "bahag." It is a piece of cloth wrapped around the waist and between the legs, similar to a loincloth. The bahag is often made from woven fabric and is a significant part of Igorot culture.
It depends on the use. If it is found during the play (and not part of a warrior/night outfit) then it is a prop. If it is used to show a person/s occupation or used only as a costume piece, then it is a costume.
