Values??? Do you mean for each piece of equipment? How do you choose a piece of equipment -- pump, filter, heater etc?? Is that what you meant? Your question is too vague. Re ask thru my message board.

A salt water swimming pool is a pool that has had salt added to it in order to be able to use the salt in water that is circulated through the filtration system and run it through a chlorinator. This is a set of elements that electronically create chlorine gas that is almost instantly dissolved into the water to sanitise it. The concentration of salt in the water is about 1/8 that of sea water or about the same as that in tears.

A swimming pool would generally hold more, but that is not always the case. Some jacuzzis and other types of tubs are pretty large and there are the little toy pools you can set up in the yard.

There is no universal answer to this question. Pool rules are set by the governing bodies of the individual Condominium or Homeowner Association that owns and controls the pool.

Generally, swimming is a year-round sport with no set season. However, their are a few differences between the winter season and summer season. If you notice, during the summer Olympics, swimming is held in a 50-meter pool whereas in the winter (in the United States, this is the college swimming season) swim meets are mostly held in a 25-yard pool.

Assuming your pool is set up properly with all suction points safely installed and isolated from the swimming area. There is no reason not to swim with the filtration equipment running. As a matter of fact it is preferable to have the filters running while the pool is in use.

You can purchase a patch kit at any swimming pool retailer and use the same type of patch that is used for an above ground swimming pool liner - the kit is relatively inexpensive but it takes a while to seal but around the slash it should be clean as possible and the drier the better

Determine how many gallons of water your swimming pool holds. You will also need to consider what size filter that you have. If you have an undersized filter to pump it can create filtration and circulation problems. Be sure to look at the turnover rate for your pump and filter that you are considering. If you have an aboveground pool most pump and filters are sold as a pre-sized set.

With the summer season approaching quickly, above ground swimming pools are a hot commodity item. When you’re choosing what kind of swimming pool you’d like, there are a number of factors to consider. For starters, you’ll need to decide what specific size you’d like, special features you want, and the final price you’re willing to pay. When it comes to swimming pools, size does matter! How many people will be using the pool? Will children or adults be using the pool? How much space do you have for an above ground swimming pool? Do you want a circular, oval, or square pool shape? Along with the outer dimensions of the pool, how high would you like the water level? Answering these questions will give you a good starting point when looking at your options. Along with size, consider the features you’d prefer for your swimming experience. The popular brands offer an easy set-up pool where you inflate a top ring, a metal frame pool, or a pool with metal supports. Also, find out if the pool has a pump and filter system. If you prefer not to worry about chemicals, some pools offer a salt-water system as an alternative. The last thing to consider is the price you’re willing to pay. Knowing what you want in an above ground pool can help set the parameters, but it all boils down to price. Many above ground swimming pools start at $129.99 and go up to $2000.00 or more. In addition, consider the additional accessories that may or may not come with the pool. Ladders, chemicals, pool covers, and maintenance kits are only a few extra purchases that could add to the final price. After you narrow down all your preferences, take some time to read customer reviews on the swimming pool you like best. Most of the reviews are helpful in preventing pitfalls, or they’ll confirm that your decision is a good one. Obviously, some people won’t be happy with their purchase, but get an overall feel for what the majority of customers are writing. In the end, you’ll be enjoying summer in your new above ground swimming pool.
