When you don’t want to rent the space to maintain a massage building, it can be beneficial to build a massage room in the home. Though it is a relatively simple task to set up the room, the planning process can be a little bit much at first.

1. It is important to find a room that is suitable for being a massage room. If you don’t want everybody to see how your home looks, you would ideally prefer the room near an entrance. You would also prefer finding a room near a bathroom as well since a client will probably need to use it. Most homes may not be properly set up for a massage room, but you can make it happen.
2. To make things easier, take the time to empty the room now.
3. With the room bare, paint the walls. Try finding a neutral color that most of your clients will enjoy, while also being calming, soothing and relaxing.
4. After the paint has dried, feel free to begin setting up the room. The massage table should probably go in the middle for easiest access. A small shelf might go next to this table in order to convenient hold lotion, oil and other such tools so that they will be within easy reach. A table and hair should be assembled somewhere so your visiting clients can sit somewhere else first and later put their belongings.
5. Hang your certifications on the wall, as well as any curtains as necessary.
6. The only thing left to do would be to include your own personal touches to the room. For example, you may wish to include either a few candles or a few shells on the corner of a table, a figuring on a shelf that induces relaxation, or perhaps even a large decoration, such as a vase, in the corner of the room. However, remember to keep it simple and to keep it relaxing, because an large amount of décor looks overwhelming and cluttered.
