How to Install a Hydrogen Generator?

It is critical to the efficiency and the safe operation of your hydrogen generator to install it into its position properly. When under the right conditions, the hydrogen gas that your system produces can become explosive. Luckily, it is not difficult to install a hydrogen generator because the gas has the ability to rapidly dissipate while it is in the air. To avoid explosions is as simple as correctly installing the system into its position. Never disregard the bubblers and check valves, as these are required parts of the device to prevent an explosion. The hydrogen generators of today’s world are too large to sit in the engine compartment any longer, meaning that you should consider installing it in the hatch or the trunk.

1. Put your hydrogen generator into the hatch area or into the trunk of your vehicle. You will want to mount it as close to the center of your vehicle as you can possible manage, which will minimize how much the electrolyte liquid will slosh around. Use a felt tip pen to mark where the corners will go and where you want to put in the brackets. Remove the generator and mark the position of the brackets on the floor of the vehicle and onto the generator.
2. Pre-drill, tapping the mounting holes of the bracket in the acrylic housing for the hydrogen generator. Try not to drill all the way through the hydrogen generator, or else you may have leaks. If this occurs, just use some RTV silicon to seal the hole. Take the mounting brackets and attach them to the housing.
3. Mark the position of the brackets of the bubbles. Check to make sure there are no objects beneath the vehicle that can be damaged from drilling, and proceed to drill a hole for your supply line.
4. Position the generator into its area, aligning the marks you made earlier. Attach the generator and the included bubbler to the vehicle. Connect the outlet to the inlet for the bubbler using the vacuum hose. Run this hose from the outlet into the compartment of the engine. Attach the hose to the source of the vacuum, which should be below the hood, and position the hose so it is away from hot objects.
