The first thing that you need to do is turn the power off or unplug it. It is unsafe to have it on while you work. You can take out the glass plate that sits in the center to see underneath. Look in to see if there is any food stuck on the inside of the microwave. This could be stopping the wheels from moving. Look into the whole microwave and clean it thoroughly. Pay the most attention to the tracks on the wheel. You can use a dish rag with warm water and soap to scrubs any liquid spills off.

When you are finished cleaning, you can put the ring for the turntable back into the divot at the bottom. This will keep it from moving around. You can put the tray back onto the track, but make sure that it is laying flat and securely onto the plastic drive bushing. If it is not correctly placed, it will not be able to spin how it should. The drive bushing may need to be replaced because large amounts of food can crack it. You can now plug your microwave back in and give it a test run. This will check to make sure it spins correctly, but you must cook something. Microwaves should not be on while empty, so boil water or cook something as the test.
