Short answer is yes. But you have to remember no one has a "right" to join the military, also the military will have access to your juvy record, sealed records etc. so never ever lie or conceal any history. It is all a matter of scale and how long ago it was and what you have done about it since. It is more than a criminal question it is about moral and character. If you can demonstrate that you have that now, joining will be much more acceptable.
if you have a criminal record can you still join the marines commando
It depends on what exactly you have on your record. Basically meaning if you have a non-violent offence.
It all depends on what the offense(s) was(were) and what your current situation maybe. Yes but it will depend on how bad the criminal record is. They have been letting some offenders in.
Having a criminal record may affect your eligibility to join the Royal Marine Commandos. Each case is assessed individually, and certain types of convictions may be disqualifying. It's best to contact a recruiter for specific guidance on your situation.
It may be possible, but a lot of that will depend on the severity of your crime. Your local Army recruiter would be better equipped to answer your questions on this matter.
Yes.
Depends on what's on that record.
No. You are working when in the army.
Yes, dumb people can join the army. They may never rise to a high rank, but they can still be soldiers.
you can if you have commited a minnor offense but you have to addmitt your offense to the ministry of defense and the armed forces defense commitee. however I would check this with an army recrutor
It is completely impossible to join any forces in the US army with any criminal record, juvenile or not. So, I would recommend staying out of trouble for the time being if you want to fight for our country someday. BTW: PufferFish31 speaking: I completely changed the answer. Original answer: I would say not.
You will need a diploma (possibly a GED), a clean criminal record (but some convictions are waverable), no history of drug use (clean urine test to determine this), and good health.
