does respiration provides energy for cells without using oxygen
Oxygen is essential for aerobic cellular respiration, the process by which cells get energy from food. If we are deprived of oxygen, aerobic respiration will cease, and we will not be able to get enough energy to survive.
The release of energy from food molecules in the absence of oxygen is called anaerobic respiration. When there is oxygen present it is called aerobic respiration.
respiration glucose + oxygen -----------> carbon dioxide + water Energy

does respiration provides energy for cells without using oxygen
Aerobic Respiration is a respiration of a bacteria with oxygen. Glucose + Oxygen --> Energy + Water + Carbon Dioxide Anaerobic Respiration is a respiration of a bacteria without the presence of oxygen. No. It is possible to have respiration in a pure carbon dioxide atmosphere and get no energy out of it. Respiration pulls oxygen into the system and it is the combination of this oxygen with other bodily chemicals that provides energy.
They use energy from carbon -di-oxide & it is known as anaerobic respiration. It occurs in the absence of oxygen & release 2 molecules of ATP from one glucose molecule. It also produces alcohol & lactic acid
When oxygen runs out, the muscles and other cells need to obtain energy from oxygen and nutrients. Anaerobic respiration (respiration without oxygen) fills this need.
anaerobic respiration
Because this is where respiration reactions takes place; respiration is the process that provides energy. Glucose + Oxygen = Carbon Dioxide + Energy + Water
Aerobic respirationThis type of respiration is the most common and produces more energy than anaerobic respiration. Aerobic respiration uses oxygen and glucose. It is a chemical process controlled by enzymes - they control the rate at which energy is released. Aerobic respiration is when food that we eat is broken down to release energy which is used by the body for important life processes. During exercise we need more oxygen so the rate of aerobic respiration increases.Aerobic respiration can be summarised as an equation:Glucose + Oxygen ---> Water + Carbon dioxide + EnergyC6H12O6 + 6O2 ---> 6H2O + 6 CO2 + 2900 kj
I don't know but respiration is the exchange of gases from one organism to another. Plant does it I think. They have two kinds of respiration. I think both releases O though.

Respiration supplies energy to cells by breakdown of oxygen so is only interacts internally. Breathing is the net movement of gases in and out of the body. The difference is that respiration provides energy for work while breathing provides the reactant for respiration.
