i think all disabled people should have laptops to help them to learn, they dont have to be the very best , were treated like second class citizens anyway ,,,,, dean
Being disabled does not mean you are poor and deserve to get a laptop for free. Buy yourself a laptop just like everyone else does.
The fact that your other laptop can connect to wifi is irrelevant to whether or not you have disabled wifi on the laptop that is reporting that wifi is disabled. Go into your settings and make sure you haven't inadvertently turned it off.
How did you disable it on MY laptop!!! When did you get in here..... Seriously, try restarting your laptop (don't sleep or suspend, RESTART). Unless you disabled the hardware in the BIOS, the built-in audio should have its drivers reloaded, and then you can use the Sound Control Panel to enable it.
The USB root device could be disabled in the Computer Hardware Device.
You go to controll panel on your laptop and go to sound then you go to headphone and speakers( which works for built in speakers)then you go to levels and find the perfect volume. Hope this was easy! :)
Make sure the audio driver is correct and the audio device is not disabled in device manager.
Look under your power settings in the control panel. There are options there for "What to do when I press the power button", "What to do when I press the sleep button" and "What to do when I close the lid".

The windows virtual keyboard does make its appearance as designed for Windows 8 albeit. I have yet to blue screen or have any major problems. Big bug.) Top and bottom of the laptop are enabled while the external monitor is disabled. The lower touch screen is disabled for the windows to work.
