When lymphoma is located in the neck or chest, it can cause swelling of the neck and face and difficulty breathing. It can also cause coughing. When the lymphoma is near the thymus, it can cause chest pain. If lymphoma has caused swelling of the spleen, there may be abdominal pain present.
Lymphoma can cause Back pain if the swollen lymph node is putting pressure on the nerves of the lower back. However, back pain can have may other causes that have no relation to lymphoma.
Many of the symptoms of lymphoma can be caused by other minor, easily treatable diseases. Therefore it's important to always consult your physician if you see a pattern of symptoms emerging that suggest that they could be caused by lymphoma.
