Military recruiters should not enter public schools to recruit because students are easily manipulated.
There are currently no civilian military recruiters. The military uses its own soldiers as recruiters because they have the experience and can be an example to those they recruit.
Not necessarily -- but you should be honest if asked because it may have an impact on your ability to get a security clearance in the future.
There is no answer to a manipulated variable because "a manipulated variable" is not a question!
The United States Military is an all volunteer fighting force, in order to facilitate the opportunities to each qualified individual we must have local military recruiters to complete the enlistment packets and all paperwork needed for enlistment. A military recruiter can not solely enlist a person in to the military, the sole job of a military recruiter is to disseminate the information to qualified young Americans, prepare there paperwork for enlistment, conduct testing, run police and court background checks. It is not to qualify or disqualify a person for enlistment, the only people who can do that would be those at the local Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), now if a person does not meet the educational requirements or has a questionable background (ie. possession charges, DUI's, murder) they can be disqualified on the spot by the recruiter based of the current rules for enlistment. One thing to keep in mind, NOT ALL RECRUITERS ARE LIAR'S, realistically if it does not sound right jump on the Internet and go to the official branch website and do your own research, contact the 1-800 number and talk to them, contact another recruiter. Most recruiters have more to lose to lie to you than you would by enlisting under false pretenses. When I have a person walk in to my office I automatically treat them as if they are concealing something for enlistment (ie. lying, concealing, deceiving) just because as recruiters we have become such media targets for college and high school students, anti-military or anti-recruiting groups that they will send in undercover students fishing for lies from recruiters. I as with many other recruiters have worked hard to get where we are now not to throw it away for one person, yes there are some bad apples but that is the way of American society, we have corrupt cops, judges, senators and congressmen.

I don't really know what the manipulated variable because I don't know what it is made of!
The military uses recruiters to convince young people of the opportunities that there is to be had in the service. Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine and Navy recruiters have it tougher as there are seldom six-figure careers to be had in the military, especially at the starting levels. Executive recruiters have it slightly easier. The essential role of recruiters for the military and recruiters for the top levels of the company are the same. They need to bring in candidates for qualified positions. They must also scour places for likely candidates and go fishing for extra people to help fulfill their quotas.Executive recruiters, thankfully, have much smaller quotas and do not work for the federal government. While Military recruiters who do a good job, the similarities between them and executive recruiters lies in the task. Most people in the position of looking for top talents must dress the part and often work in a similar position themselves else. The basic skills are the same. A person must be people-oriented and conscientious. The ideal candidate must carefully cultivate contacts and keep up on events within a company if possible.Even more importantly, he must remember not to neglect talent in his own company. Often a person who has stayed with a firm for years has a better grasp than an executive who comes in with ideas from other executives. Many companies have come up with plans that have not gone over well with a chain’s customers because they have failed to hire executives who started from lower positions.Another consideration is that becoming an executive recruiter does not always offer a steady pay check. The rewards do not always make this necessary, but it pays to have some other line of work as well. Most recruiters work on a consultant basis and have no official relationship with the firms that hire them to find new people to fill the ranks of their corporate officers.
Students who consider attending a military academy, and their families, should weigh the advantages offered by each institution. Many students attend military academies because they want a high-quality education that prepares them for further studies, a civilian career or the military. These academies include high school and college-level study options

The manipulated variable typically goes on the independent variable axis of a graph. This is because the manipulated variable is the one that is controlled or changed by the experimenter to observe its effect on the dependent variable.
The Dependent Variable
The manipulated independent variable is the variable that the researcher intentionally changes or controls in an experiment to observe its effect on the dependent variable. This variable is manipulated by the researcher to determine the impact it has on the outcome of the study.
