If she is just living in the same apartment complex he may be telling the truth and it may be his ex trying to be close to him and he is being honest about it to you and there is nothing he can do about her renting in the same complex. Straighten this problem out with your boyfriend as soon as you can. Don't bother speaking with his ex.
