A platform deck plan is best used for a brick home or a home that has some height to it. If you live in a smaller house, then it is best to go with another type of deck because the size of the deck may not work well. The platform deck should be raised slightly so that it looks like a platform on the house.
It tricks the loader into thinking it's in Suspension mode (its most stable height 4.5") allowing you to raise the Deck without being in suspension height or travel height 9.5. This is used mainly for reconfiguration of the loader for transport, or it's a time saver. I don't have to stop, lower suspension, and then raise the deck. I just hold the switch and raise the deck.
on mine it,s on the right side by the dash large pole like thing sticking up, either has a push button on top or pulls out and back to raise and lower deck, [ has notches for the lever to fit in,]
Raise mower deck, put blocks (2x4) under deck, and then lower deck handle. Find on each side, spring loaded U clip that holds deck hangars to deck. Pull back each one and turn 90 degrees. Raise deck handle to pull hangars out of the way. Remove blocks to lower deck. Move deck backwards to disengage from front hangar. Unhook deck belt from PTO. Remove deck from side. Flip deck over (WARNING: HEAVY, get help). Use impact wrench to remove large nuts on each blade, or block each blade with a short 2x4. Before removing take note of which way the blade edge and trailing edge faces. Install new or sharpened blades. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
It would raise the center of gravity and make the bus less stable.
To adjust the mower height for optimal grass cutting, locate the adjustment lever or knob on the mower deck. Raise or lower the lever to change the cutting height. For shorter grass, lower the deck, and for longer grass, raise it. Make small adjustments until you find the right height for a clean cut without damaging the grass.
Most Craftsman riding mowers have an adjusting nut on the pivoting linkage. If you look on top of the deck there are two arms coming from above that raise and lower the deck. The bottom of these rods are threaded and can be adjusted right there.
The first thing to do is to check that the lawnmower belt is going around all of the pulleys in order (check manual for belt route). If the belt is on correctly, then make sure that it is tight around the pulleys and is not slipping. If that is not happening either, raise the deck to its maximum height. Then peek under the deck to see if anything is wrapped around or catching the blade. If you cant see under it, drive it onto a ramp or raise front end somehow so you can see under the deck. Also, on some models, the deck comes out from under the mower (consult the owner's manual). Then you should be able to determine the cause.
I had this happen a few years ago. The problem was that the tape itself hadbecome wrapped around different wheels and pulleys inside the the tape player so that the cartridge would raise but it would not eject. I ended up having to remove the player from the dashboard, take off the cover and cut the tape from the inside. Then the cartridge could be pulled out.
It would be a Destiny board deck or final countdown deck.

the dragunity deck is a structure deck
Most people look to concrete or wood when planning their deck, but you can mix things up by choosing beautiful deck tile. Easy to install and simple to care for, these tiles will give your deck a luxurious, sophisticated look you are sure to appreciate. If you will be putting tiles over a wood deck, be sure that you check the structure strength. If necessary, add some joists for strength. On the top of the deck, use special hardie backer to stiffen the surface and prepare it for tile. If you are working with concrete, use a four-foot level to make sure it is perfectly smooth. Grind high spots flat and use concrete filler to raise low spots.
