Resetting LG Optimus V back to Default Factory Settings?

With all the customizations the LG Optimus V can take, sometimes things get a bit messed up. But this can be fixed by doing a hard reset of the system to set it back to factory defaults. This procedure will delete any third party applications and can possibly delete personal data stored on the memory card so be sure to backup all saved data on the phone.

To hard reset the phone and set it back to its defaults settings, tap Menu from the home screen. Select Settings, Privacy then select Factory Data Reset. Tap Reset Phone, and enter a password if required, choose Erase Everything to confirm.
