At the very least, it is a stretching experience to behold if you are new to the area.

One new area around Shreveport that is popular for visitors is the Louisiana Boardwalk. This is right on the river and boasts a number of great restaurants, shops, and boutiques. It is similar to many outdoor mall areas, except that it has a much lighter feel and can be a perfect place to spend a summer night. Additionally, there is a huge movie theater right in that complex, as well as a few more fun places to take the family after a day of shopping and eating.

The city, as a whole, has much to offer. For its size, it has a remarkable mix of different cultural experiences to keep visitors happy.
