Depending on the individual, some may be unable to tell the difference between name brand and generic cereals. With some types, there may be instances when the generic just does not taste the same. If the price is right and it tastes fine, there is no reason to purchase a more expensive name brand cereal. Purchase a small box if unsure and do a taste comparison before purchasing the larger bag or box.
