Nicknamed the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia is one of the oldest cities in the United States, and one of the best places to visit. Philadelphia is home to some of the country's best attractions, sport teams, historical sites, dining, arts and culture, and entertainment. It simply has something for everyone.

Philadelphia is filled with the nation's history. Home to the Liberty Bell Center, the National Constitution Center, Independence Hall, and the Franklin Institute, visitors have the unique opportunity of visiting some of the most historic places in America. Now a real-life monument, the Rocky Statue created for the movie Rocky III, is one of the visited sites in the city. Located at the bottom of the stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, visitors have the opportunity to take a picture with Rocky Balboa himself.

If you're looking to spend a day outside, Franklin Square is the place to visit. Recently renovated, the park now has a miniature Golf course, a classic carousel, story-telling benches, and a picnic area. Pathways illuminated by lights in the evening lead up to the Franklin Fountain. Built in 1838, the fountain outlined in marble and surrounded by wrought iron fences is currently undergoing cosmetic renovations.

If you're looking for a great place to take the kids, Please Touch Museum is a child's delight. Built in 1976, the Please Touch Museum seeks to offer kids a fun learning experience. It offers many hands-on attractions for kids to indulge in and have fun. The museum has 6 interactive exhibit zones, with 4 of them specifically designed for kids 3 and younger. Older kids and adults are not left out of the fun, but can enjoy a ride on the restored Woodside Park Dentzel Carousel.

Philadelphia offers a multitude of eating choices, including places to buy a famous Philadelphia cheese steak. Parc, owned by famed restaurateur Stephen Parr, offers an authentic French bistro experience. Inside the restaurant is a Parisian ambiance, while the outside offers sidewalk seating overlooking the Square. Classic burgers, authentic pizzerias, and much more are located right in the city.

The nightlife scene is abundant in Philadelphia, with something happening every night of the week. The World Cafe Live offers a fun jam session with pianist Orrin Evans and his band, or you can visit Cobre Restaurant and listen to live music and participate in open mic night.
