More and more companies are concerned about protecting data as it is becoming easier to place information at risk where it can be accessed by hackers and competitors. Protecting information from natural disasters or computer failures is also extremely important, since data loss can bring the function of the modern business to a halt.

IT in the future will continue to become a more diverse field and will likely move in directions that can not yet be anticipated.
