For starters, with the internet connection already installed in their computers, users could move their work to any room of the house and still be connected to the internet. If they wanted to venture out of the house, these same individuals could spend hours at a cafe that subscribed wireless internet service. In the college classroom, students could type notes, save them, and send them to their e-mail accounts within a matter of seconds. And doctors could carry one laptop around their offices to document their patients’ visits.

The wireless internet laptop has changed the way in which people use their computers. In a way, the device has paved the way for the newest development: the smartphone. With wireless internet, even the smallest smartphone can be transformed into a miniature laptop. Overall, the computer’s possibilities for the average person are now endless.
