Many people are concerned about reaching their target weight. However, knowing what exactly is your ideal weight can be difficult to determine. It is not as simple as a feel-good weight, or even how you look in the mirror. A great way to find what your healthy weight should be is by using a Body Mass Index, or BMI calculator. Enter your height, weight, and gender, and then find where you are on the scale. A healthy body weight will fall in the range of 18.5-25. Higher means you are overweight or obese, and lower means you are underweight.
You can find charts online that will tell you for your specific height what a good weight would be. You can also use your BMI to tell you if your a healthy weight already or not.
To work out your BMI you need to use your height and weight. Use the following formula. BMI = Weight(kg) divided by Height2(m2) or BMI = Weight(lb) times 703 divided by height2(in2) or BMI = Weight(lb) times 4.88 divided by Height2(ft2)
To calculate BMI (Body Mass Index), you can use the formula: BMI = weight (kg) / (height (m))^2. For a height of 72 inches (6 feet) and a weight of 130 pounds, the BMI would be approximately 17.7, which is considered underweight according to the BMI scale. A healthy BMI typically ranges from 18.5 to 24.9, so a weight of 130 pounds at that height would not be considered healthy.
It really depends on your height to weight ratio. Obviously the taller you are, the heavier you weigh. I suggest you use a BMI calculator to calculate if you are a healthy weight or not. This is a good BMI calculator to use:http:/wwwzperiodznhszperiodzuk/Tools/Pages/healthyweightcalculatorzperiodzaspx Also, you can use this: http:/wwwzperiodzhealthstatuszperiodzcom/calculate/iwc to find out what weight range you should be in. Yes. They shouldn't value that "ideal weight" so much that they lose sight of what a healthy weight is, and it is possible to have a higher BMI than average and still be perfectly healthy.
To determine if you are a healthy weight for your height, you can use the Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI is calculated by dividing your weight in kilograms by your height in meters squared. A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 is typically considered a healthy range. However, it's important to consider other factors such as muscle mass and overall body composition for a more complete assessment of health.
Some are pretty accurate, but others are not. I would advise you not to use online BMI's because many are not accurate. Sometimes when they aren't accurate, they make you feel bad about yourself. They may make you think you need to lose weight, when you really don't.One specific BMI calculator that I would advise you NOT to use, is the one on calculator.net. When I used this BMI, I typed the following information into the calculator: age: 13 sex: female height: 5' 2" weight: 100 lbs. My results were healthy weight, which was ok. But it listed me in the middle range of healthy weight. Which wasn't a bad thing, but I honestly thought I should be in the lower range of healthy weight. So I experimented to see how accurate this BMI calculator actually was. I pressed the back arrow, and changed my weight to 90 lbs. and pressed the "calculate" button. It still said I was a healthy weight. I went back again, and changed it to 89. Still, healthy weight. I Changed it to 88. Healthy weight. I continued going down, to see how little I could weigh, and still be a healthy weight. According to the BMI calculator, I could weigh as little as 84 pounds, and still be a healthy weight.
well a good weight always varies from your age, height and weight. if you want to find out you should probably calculate your BMI or use a height weight charts. i would recommend researching if you are wondering if your personal weight is good/ healthy
To calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) in kilograms, use the formula: BMI = weight (kg) / (height (m)²). First, measure your weight in kilograms and your height in meters. Square your height value (multiply it by itself), then divide your weight by this squared height. The result is your BMI, which helps assess whether you have a healthy body weight for your height.
Yes, an online healthy weight calculator can calculate your BMI. By inputting your gender, height, and weight, it will calculate the information for you, as well as tell you what range your BMI and weight should be within.
