Lots of food with carbs. Helps if you eat them the day before your race.
Cross Country. It incorporates running. I do cross country, but not track... in the track season I play softball! :) I think you should to XC if you can run at least 2 miles without getting tired!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a trick, NOTHING can replace running. NOTHING, cross-country would be best. I did cross-country first then did track to keep me in the running mood. Cross-country is a very good running sport, and is much more competitive. But sometimes you're better at sprinting than running distance, or sometimes you're better at distance than sprinting. Try it out and see if you like it!
I would recommend the Adidas Supernova Sequence Running shoe if you are doing a lot of running, as for just a fitness shoe you might want to look at a cross training shoe.
Out of all of the shoes I have bought in my lifetime I have always shopped at Dick's Sporting Goods. Personally I prefer to get cross training shoes over running shoes because they perform equal to, if not better than, running shoes. This completely depends on the type of running you do though. I would not recommend these shoes to cross country or marathon runners. In that case order custom shoes from Nike.com.
What motivated you to start running cross country? How do you prepare for races mentally and physically? Can you share a memorable race experience or accomplishment? How do you balance academics with your rigorous training schedule?
Newton running shoes are used by athletes which mean they have to be good. They are very light and fit amazing so it does not disturb the running experience. I would recommend them.
Selecting the correct cross country running shoes is vitally important as they can affect not only your feet, but your leg joints, knees and back. A speciality store is probably the best place to look, and I would start with a comparison website. Not only will you find some great deals on cross country running shoes but you will also have helpful reviews to help you decide.
Probebly as long as you use the same tech as wii fits's running
well you most likely would faint if you donate blood then run a race
A shoe with good arch and instep support is recommended for running and jogging. Many brands of shoes by Nike, Adidas, and Reebok have shoes for running, walking, and cross-training which would be suitable.
Go running everyday. You also need to do core work (crunches, sit ups, planks, leg lifts, pull ups, dips) and cross training (swimming, biking) and do hill workouts. You should also eat healthy. And I would go to any courses that you know you'll be having meets at to get used to the course.
New Balance 790 Trail Running Shoes are a very durable shoe because they are made for running off-road. Due to this, they would be good for running long distances. The only problem though would be they aren't very light.
You would cross India.
