Technically, South Korea is better because you have more freedom, rights, and there's democracy just like America.
However, North Korea limits their citizen's rights to a very little extent, and there is Dictatorship, or unfair monarchy.
Another reason is that a long time ago, North Korea tried to invade South Korea because of their richer soil and better lands.
So I think that South Korea has a much better economy.
