Lock bar mechanism jammed on you. Not sure if it's a common problem with any Ford vehicles, but I know it's a bit problematic on the Chevy Cobalt and some other GM vehicles.
Find the fuse for your fuel pump. If you have a fuse panel under the hood, it'll probably be in that one. Pull it, and it will starve the engine of fuel, causing it to shut off. Contact a Ford dealership to see if there are any recalls for that model and year in regards to this.
Yes, but if the key is changed or replacement key is cut it must be reprogrammed. The tumbler from Ford comes with "gates" to rekey the tumbler to the original key.
The pin is on the bottom of cylinder, push it while turning the key until it goes in all the way and then pull the ignition out.
