I bought the memorex disc repair today, and have to say, it's terrible. I have tried to repair 3 discs and I was unable to completely repair any of them. One disc I was able to get it so it didn't skip, but there was still another problem, later on in the disc that it didn't work for. I would say at best it is a real crap shoot, as to weather or not it will work. It's cheap enough to give it a shot, but I wouldn't put my hopes into it.
If you have an empty disc you will be able to visit the Microsoft official site and locate the system repair suitable for your version of Windows. After downloading the correct file you can burn it to the disc using a disc burning software. Then simply put the disc in your selected computer and you're good to go!
