The simple answer is yes. I have seen it done, only takes 10 minutes and you can set the pin to 0000. Chip and pin is no where near as secure as banks make out. I have had 2 cards cloned. Barclays have admitted to my card being cloned and have sorted the issue, whereas MasterCard are point blank denying it. They are refusing to change the card, which is the bare minimum they should be doing. I am going to take this to the FSA and contact BBCs watchdog and also look at contacting national newspapers about this. its like saying online backup is 100% secure, when its the least secure form of banking around.
