When you see "CC" on an email or other correspondence, it means "carbon copy", a reference to the practice in the old days when typists would make carbon copies of documents to distribute to more than one person. Note: When you see "BCC", it means "blind carbon copy". Use this option if you'd like to send the same email to multiple people when you don't want to share each other's email addresses.
