I know from a very recent guided tour in the Airbus Finkenwerder facilities, that an airbus 321 contains approx. 500.000 rivets. Accordingly I should suppose, that an A300 contains considerably more.
All Airbus versions are built by Airbus Corporation. This is in Europe and parts are made in different places and assembled at Toulouse, France. A plant to build A 319, 320 and 321 is being built in Mobile , Alabama.
