It falls out of the sky and you die
A hot air balloon runs on the energy stored in the heated air inside the balloon envelope. The heat is usually generated by burning propane gas in a burner located below the opening of the balloon.
A lack of lift with a constant weight and drag leads to rapid descent. Look for a clear landing area, jettison balast to gain time and distance and hope for the best. Ballooning is not negotiable, What Goes Up, Must Come Down.
you have no heat and car runs normal
Nothing, a steam boat runs not on steam, but on a heat source GENERATING steam. this heat source is usually coal but could be wood or a fossil fuel.
A small through-the-wall or window unit (air-source heat pump) to cool and heat a single room runs about $500 to $1,500 US dollars. A whole-house system with existing ductwork (a typical split system air-source heat pump runs $2,000 to $5,000 US dollars for an average home. Complete installation of a geothermal heat pump (ground-source or water-source) runs $10,000 -$25,000 or more, depending on the length and depth of the underground pipes, soil conditions and other excavation and installation factors. Food for thought - in an older home you may need to hire an electrician to upgrade the electrical panel to 200 amps, which can cost an additional $1,300 -$3,000.
when I turn the heat on nothing happens. But when I cut it to yhe on switch the fan runs. Could it be the fuse are a blown cicurit. And yes my AC works fine.
If the burner fails or runs out of fuel, the hot air in the balloon (that gives it lift) would cool and the balloon would come down to earth.
The engine overheats and parts can melt, crack, even explode (massive expansion due to heat.)
Most likely need water pump could over heat and damage head gaskets
An air balloon rises due to the principle of buoyancy, which occurs when the hot air inside the balloon is lighter than the cooler air outside. This temperature difference creates a pressure difference, causing the balloon to float upwards.
The refrigeration equipment runs constantlty, heating the room. A fridge just removes heat from the inside area and pushes it out the rear coils. Any heat generated by the compressor is added to this.
The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is held anually, usually during October time and runs for approximately 8 days. This years Balloon Fiesta will be held from the 5th - 13th October 2013, and will be a fun filled event for you and your family.
