Engine seal? Valve cover gasket? Timing chain cover?
The vss is on top of the trans-axle, behind the engine on the passenger side.
The power steering reservoir is on the power steering pump.Looking from the front of car it is on the passenger side on front of engine. just to the right of the radiator recovery tank.

my 1995 Trooper had same problem it was the crankshaft position sensor located on the middle passenger side of the motor. I will remove the passenger side front tire and it is behind the shock, tight fit but can be done.

The fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger area. It is to the right of the transmission hump, on the toe board, just under the edge of the carpet. If you don't smell gas or see gas leaking push the button down on the top of the switch if it has popped up.
