If there was no damage to the cylinder bore then you will not need to bore it oversize.

There could be bent and/or broken valves. Possible damage to the cylinder head and valve guides. Could be damage to the top of the piston. Or you could br lucky and nothing happened.
There would defiantly be a cylinder misfire, and rough running. Worst case the valve could hit the piston and do serious internal damage.
worst case bent or broke valves, scared cylinder walls, chipped cracked or broken piston surfaces in other words very costly best case nothing
depending on if the engine has been ran for long after the liner broke, it can normally be replaced, depending on the damage you may need new piston, valves piston rings etc
i HAVE A 98 AND THE BELT BROKE TWICE AND DID NO DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. The first time I was on freeway doing 75 and it broke. I have a '97 Contour and had no damage to the engine when my timing belt broke. Make sure you check your pulleys to ensure that the bearings are good. Mine were not and had to replace them.
There is not a lot of information to go by in your question. There are many reasons why an engine might lock up - - Ran with no oil - Ran over heating - Timing chain broke / piston damage - Piston damage in general And more. Have the truck towed to a qualified mechanic and have him tell you what's wrong.

if the timing chain broke, your not going to see any rotation of the distributor rotor when the motor turns over. If it was running when the chain broke(likely), you probably have a few mashed valves and maybe piston damage also. A teardown is the only sure way to assess the damage. Sorry about your luck. :(
No they don't . Mine broke on my 2001 sportage and didn't do any damage. This is due to the fact that the engine is called a "non-interference" motor. At no time can the valve hit a piston (in theory) because the valve travel is not enough to ever hit the piston.
The 1996 Honda Accord is an interference engine so in almost every case you will have valve and possibly piston damage if the cam belt breaks.
Gas is leaking into your oil pan. If the head gasket is leaking, it needs to be replaced. While the cylinder head is off, look for a cracked piston or worn rings which may cause gas to leak into the oil pan. If the gasket has been replaced and you had no piston damage or bad rings, then change the oil and filter.
There's many answers 2 ur ?. I could give u a better answer, but I need some more detail as 2 why u think he broke up with u because he got bored of u.
