I had the same problem with a 1996 Dodge Avenger 4-cylinder manual transmission and found out that is was the Idle Air Control Motor is located right underneath the Throttle position sensor. It will run as long as a revved the engine but as soon as I would let go of the gas pedal it would not idle and it would shut-off.

It is very easy to check the transmission fluid level in a 1995 Dodge Avenger ES. You will need to park the car on level ground and keep it running while checking the fluid level. The dipstick is located where you put the transmission fluid.

Factory wheels from a 2005 Ford Taurus are unlikely to fit on a 2010 Dodge Avenger due to differences in bolt pattern, offset, and hub size. The Ford Taurus typically has a bolt pattern of 5x4.5 inches, while the Dodge Avenger has a different specification. Additionally, even if the bolt patterns matched, the overall dimensions and offsets could lead to fitment issues. It's best to consult a wheel compatibility guide or a professional before making any decisions.

To reset the front seat headrests on a 2012 Dodge Avenger after an accident, first ensure the vehicle is stationary and turned off. Locate the release button on the side of each headrest and press it while pushing the headrest down to its lowest position. If the headrest is stuck due to the accident, gently pull it up while pressing the release button. Once reset, adjust the headrest to your desired height.
