If it doesn't crank, check the starter or the solenoid. If it will crank, but won't start, check for a "check engine" light. If the light is on, have Autozone or someone check it to give you an answer. If there is no light, remember, the first steps to checking an internal combustion engine are: Check for fuel; Check for spark; and check for compression. These are all necessities for gasoline engines, and they usually account for some problem when a car won't start. Once you figure out the "what," you can move on to the "why."
