If you are saying the blower motor only works on the high speed setting, then the problem is a bad HVAC Resistor Pack.
Depending on the year, make and model many vehicles will have a very simple small bulb that blows out and in many cases you can just replace the bulb...........
Two basic reasons:The air conditioner is brokenThe air control doors that switch from hot to air-conditioning are jammed or broken.
The a/c compressor runs off a relay switch. Look in your owner's manual to find the location of the switch and replace if necessary.
Check your coolant level in the radiator as well as the overflow reservoir. Believe it or not, I had the same problem yesterday. This should fix your problem.
Try removing bulbs from all exterior lights turn switch on to see if fuse blows--if not replace one bulb at a time to determine where problem is. If fuse blows without bulbs could very well be switch "dead shorted" to ground IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM SO IF YOU FIGURE IT OUT PLEASE LET ME KNOW AT GODLIVERKILLA@YAHOO.COM A mechanic told me that the switch that is on the column is usually the problem. its probably the dual air conditioning door lever the little motors go bad or its the control switch on your console
Typically a relay or resistor. But could be a blower switch or blower motor problem.
You could just need to flush our your coolant pipes. Detach both hoses leading to passenger side firewall and spray into one of the pipes with a hose. It will come out the other pipe. This solved my problem in my '91 Ranger.

I have the same problem. The man at the junk yard said it sounds like a short in the switch. I am going to check it out.
