2004 GMC Sonoma won't start appears to be a fuel issue Can anyone give me a starting place?
If you think it is a fuel issue, make sure the fuel pump is running. Turn on the ignition key and do not start the engine. If you listen very carefully in a quiet area, you should hear the pump run for a few seconds. If it is running then replace the fuel filter first. If it is not running, replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pump fuse and relay. In rare instances, the ECU can be bad and cause the pump to not function. You may end up having to run a fuel pressure test to see if the pump is working properly. Good luck/.
