Unplug fan connector, run wires from battery to fan connector, test run fan, if fan works then it's fine/if not the replace the fan. Next make sure everything is connected then start vehicle turn on A.C., in a few mins the fan should start automaticly. A.C bypasses the coolant temp switch. Next test temp switch. If none of the above helps log onto alldatadiy.com, subscribe to your vehicle and look up the whole system and trouble shoot

AnswerRadiators work by radiating heat into the air and cooling the engine. Coolant flows through the engine block and then to the radiator. The cooling fan helps keep the radiator cool allowing the heat to be put out into the air. This is correct

How does a car radiator system work?

A car radiator system works by circulating coolant through the engine to absorb heat. The heated coolant then flows through the radiator, where it is cooled by airflow from the outside. As the coolant cools, it returns to the engine to continue the cooling cycle.

Why does a radiator make a car work more effectively?

How does the fan work?

If the question is about the motor fan or engine fan, the main function of this fan is cooling the radiator of the engine which in turn is cooling the water circulating inside the engine unto the radiator and back. This keeps the engine at a fairly operable temperature without overheating and damaging damaging its parts.

Is a 92 Chevrolet Corsica compatible with CanOBD2 diagnostic products?

Why a car needs a radiator to operate effectively?

The process of the engine creates huge amounts of heat. Water is past through the engine block (that is where the cylinders are ) where it collects heat from the case body of the engine block and its taken to the radiator where air is passed through the radiator cooling the water. The cycle continues. If the water did not circulate then the engine would expand considerably, the cylinders will also then expand as would the moving parts to the point where the friction would cause the engine to cease up.

How does the engine coolant does this work?

When the engine heats up to a certain temperature, the thermostat opens up and lets the coolant flow through the engine. Heat from the engine is absorbed by the coolant, which then cycles back to the radiator. Heat from the coolant is exchanged to the air which flows through the radiator fins, thus causing the coolant to rapidly cool down.

Where Is the radiator on a 2003 Chevy Malibu?

The radiator on a 2003 Chevy Malibu is located at the front of the engine compartment, behind the grille. It is positioned between the front bumper and the engine, typically mounted to the support brackets. To access it, you may need to remove any obstructions, such as the front grille or cooling fans. Always ensure the engine is cool before attempting any work on the radiator.
