If using the AC that is practically normal for a 5.7. Adding the additve certainly won't hurt but the 94 I believe uses reverse flow cooling and this is normal. Does it overheat at highway speeds? If so a high flow thermostat would help greatly also. Just things I did to my 95 LT1 350.
Remove the bottom hose from your 1995 Chevy Corvette radiator. Allow the coolant to drain out. Put a hose into the top of the radiator. Run water through the radiator until it runs clear.
there should be a pitcock on bottom of radiator to drain it. or take the bottom radiator hose with motor cold of course .
Assuming you mean the entire cooling system and not just the radiator alone, aprox 20 qts.
Low coolant? Thermostat not opening? Radiator plugged or restricted? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating coolant? System airbound? Hoses collapsing under pressure? Defective radiator cap?
located on the passenger side of the radiator. Single wire (spade connector), I believe it is green in color.
Radiator coolant.
Coolant goes in the radiator or you can also fill the radiator resevoir.
Low coolant, radiator restriction.Low coolant, radiator restriction.
In systems that do not have a radiator cap, the coolant is drained by the radiator drain plug. It is filled by adding coolant to the system through the overflow bottle.
If the radiator is cracked then the vehicle has ran dry on coolant. This would cause the radiator to crack if there wasn't any coolant.
There are at least (2) - one on the driver's side head, and one on the intake manifold, there may be another, they feed the gauge, the ecm, and the radiator fan controls.
You add coolant to a C240 at the radiator overflow tank. This allows the radiator to suck in coolant as needed when hot.
