If the clicking noise you are hearing from the rear panel in your Mountaineer is coming from the passengers side, you could be hearing the relay contact opening or closing for the automatic headlights (if equipped), rear window defrost, rear wiper, or a host of other features. Control panel lets you set up settings for your computer, such as when your screen saver will come on and at what percentage of battery your laptop will shut off at. Check it out for yourself by clicking on start, and then either typing in control panel or clicking on it.
