No, there was a change in the body between YJ and TJ.
No, Jeeps changed from the YJ body style to the TJ body in 97, the tops are not interchangeable.
No, YJ and TJ tops are not interchangeable
No it won't -different soft tops & dimensions for the TJ (2001) vs the YJ (1995)
No the 1994 hard top will only fit models up 96 (YJ) a hard top from years 97 and up will fit CJ7 tops and YJ (87-95) are interchangeable. They did not make a wrangler in 1996. All 97-2006 hard tops are interchangeable. You cannot interchange a TJ and YJ hard top.
Very few parts are interchangeable from a YJ to a TJ.
The tops will not fit without modification
As long as you have had a soft top on before and have the door surrounds it will fit right on they are both Jeep wrangler TJ. The soft tops are the same from 1997 to 2006.
No, TJ and YJ tops are not interchangeable
Yes it will. All 97-06 TJ tops are interchangeable. Actually NO it will not fit. Jeep changed the windshield design slightly in '03. '97 to '02 will interchange, '03 to '06 will interchange. Another point to watch is whether you have a TJ or LJ, LJ's WB is about 10" longer. So a TJ top will not work with an LJ and obviously vise verse.
Just match body styles, CJ and all YJ are matches, all TJ's are the same, and JK's should all be interchangeable. YJ 87-95 TJ 97-06 JK 07-present
No, CJ and TJ tops are not interchangeable
A 1994 soft top will not fit a 1999 Wrangler without modifications. The two models belong to different generations of the Jeep Wrangler; the 1994 model is part of the YJ series, while the 1999 model is part of the TJ series. The frame and attachment points for the soft tops are different between these generations, making them incompatible. It’s best to use a soft top specifically designed for the 1999 Wrangler.
