probablly a bad ignition switch or blower motor not sure on that should run without power
it's a problem with the blower motor resistor,
There are two things that can be checked to find out. The first is the relay that runs the blower motor may need replaced and the second is the motor itself needs replaced.
Your blower motor working even after the car is off is a good sign. This means that the car's system is preventing your car from overheating.
when my car did this it was a blown fuse
it sounds like your ignition switch, i ran into a similar problem, your power goes through your ignition switch for your blower motor.
If the blower motor in your 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer continues to run after turning off the ignition, it could be due to a faulty ignition switch or a stuck relay in the blower motor circuit. Another possibility is a malfunctioning climate control module that may not be properly signaling the blower to turn off. It's advisable to check the fuses and relays first, and if the issue persists, consult a professional mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.
Sometimes the blower is always on, at a low speed. If you have a system that turns off the blower completely, then you should hear nothing.
Climate control blower motor was the fix. The part cost 441 dollars.
