Locate PATS unit, which is usuall located passenger side near the glove box. You will have to have a feel about, but will find it in a metal cage. Unbolt by removing screw (spline type) which is found just inside door post. Once pulled out, open unit. You will see 2 relays which have black covers. Remove covers, and using piceces of plastic, make the contacts permanent, one will be normally closed & one will be normally open. This will allow the fuel pump to run, but in my instance not allow the starter to turn. After investigation, i found that PATS removes the -ve feed to the starter relay. I just provided a new -ve to the relay, and the car now starts 1st time. Only down side is that the red LED falshes for a while before finally going out. Hope his helps... This info is no real use to car theives, as it takes a good couple of hours to get this sorted.
