yes,but the motor is not running efficiently so it will likely have bad fuel mileage, and the unburned fuel could clog exhaust filters such as catalytic converter, it could cost you more in the long run, but it is possible
This may be a misfire caused by a low fuel pressure.
Contaminated fuel could cause a misfire.
Depending on the cause of the misfire, it could damage the catalytic converter.
Just because a car begins to misfire does not mean the end is near. I means it needs to be serviced.
It is not recommended. A flashing flashing check engine light is an indicator of a catalytic converter damaging misfire.
A misfire on a car with a catalytic converter will overheat and destroy the converter due to unburned fuel in the exhaust. on a car without a catalytic converter, it will still wash the cylinder with unburned fuel and break down the oil, but not do any serious damage in the short term. it is possible but not good because u can screw the rest of ur motor up it is better to fix before u drive it
car shacks
when one cyl is not working right, it does not "fire"
A cylinder misfire by itself shouldn't cause to much damage, but if you drive it while it's misfiring, it will cause a strain on the rst of the engine because you are going to be pulling the same weight with only 5 cylinders. The car will work harder, get hotter, etc. My suggestion is definitely to figure out the problem before driving the car anywhere long distance. A couple short trips is probably not going to cause undue damage, but if you have a way to drive a different car until you get the misfire fixed, I would hold off on even the couple short trips.
The check engine light blinking means that an ignition misfire has been detected Avoid any rapid acceleration or deceleration while you drive it in for repair to avoid damaging your catalytic converter
Hi, When I Just Starting My Car Ther Is A Misfire Like Looks Like Your Car Will Stop But When I Presing The Gas And Going On The Way Its Be Comes Good So Misfire Only When The Car Is Working On N And My Car Is Grand Marquis 1998
Wait about 30 seconds before you open the breech for inspection, after a misfire.
