Assuming the ABS light is on, start with having the codes read. Your local auto parts store can help you with that at no cost.
Go to any auto parts store (O'Reilly, Auto Zone, NAPA, Advance, etc.). Most of them have an OBDII scanner and will diagnose fault codes on your vehicle free of charge.

To check trouble codes on a 1995 Chevy Beretta, first, locate the diagnostic connector under the dashboard near the steering column.
