Well, isn't that an interesting idea! You see, having both a twin turbo and a supercharger in a car might be a bit tricky. It's like having two happy little trees next to each other, both trying to grow big and strong. It could work, but you'd need to make sure they don't get in each other's way and that your engine can handle all that power. Just remember, there are many ways to create a beautiful masterpiece on wheels, so feel free to explore and see what works best for you.
Twin Turbo.
I would say that for more power and efficiency, you should go with the twin turbo.
fit a twin turbo engine
add Turbo, Cool air intake, supercharger,etc...
You wouldn't twin turbo AND twin supercharger... mustangs a: lack the space and B. it would be a waste of money. A twin turbo mustang 4.6L (im asumming) on a mild setup Twin turboed with traction- mid 11's/high 10's. The only twin supercharger setup I've seen is a dual whipple, but that was only used on large big blocks. A supercharger would run around the same #s with the same boost(fuel/intercooler dependant).
Yes, There's even some with a supercharger and twin turbos. A "supercharger" is anything the increases the airflow into an engine above atmospheric, there for a turbo and a blower are both types of "superchargers". There are many applications of both turbo's and Blowers on the same engine and any combination of multiple of both, I.e. @ turbo chargers and 2 blowers or a blower and quad turbo's etc etc.
you cant run out of "turbo" what a turbo does is it forces air and fuel inside the engine faster by spooling up from the flow of the exhaust the difference between it and a supercharger is that the supercharger is ran off the belt not the exhaust gases they produce "boost" (the amount of psi the turbo or supercharger is pushing out) turbo is the shortened name for turbocharger
There is no turbo kit made for the stratus coupe. But there is a supercharger kit made by ripp mods. The difference is a turbo runs off exhaust gas and a supercharger is beltdriven. The engine in the coupe is a 6g72. The same engine comes in a twin turbo charged Mitsubishi 3000gt.
Toyota supra twin turbo no its not that its a Holden Commoredore VR. End of story!=D stick a supercharger on it n run nitrous n sweet as!
a turbocharger. unless you are comparing a turbo kit to DIY supercharging. See what is available for your car. Turbo kits are more elaborate, but if you cant find a supercharger kit, you will have an easier time buying and installing the turbo kit that making a supercharger setup yourself.
TURBO!!!!
Both twin turbo AND Twin superchargered, you could..but it would be a complicated installation. Also it would be a very expensive to do, and not worth it...horsepower wise. Volkswagen did have a car with both a supercharger and a turbo. The real reason to run twin - anything... Is that there isn't enough room to fit 1 Big one or you have a sequential set up with a small turbo for low end response and a big turbo for the top end. Twin set-ups are more expensive, complex. You can debate that twins spool faster, but they only see half the exhaust flow, and I have never seen a back to back test proving it and most big turboes are more effiecent.
