The 1998-2000 Chevy Metro with 1.0L engine has an oil capacity of 3.5 quarts.
Bottom of the engine on the oil pan.
Can you replace your 2000 Camry CE 4-cylinder engine with a 1997 Camry engine?"
I'm not a mechanic / technician but as far as I know , the answer would be NO The Ford 4.0 liter OHV engine in the Ford Explorer used ( 3 ) different engine blocks ( 1991 to 1994 ) ( 1995 and 1996 ) ( 1997 to 2000 )
To replace the fuel pump on a 2000 Chevy Metro, first, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Next, disconnect the battery and drain the fuel tank. Remove the tank from the vehicle, disconnect the fuel lines, and unbolt the fuel pump assembly from the tank. Replace the old pump with a new one, reassemble everything, and reconnect the battery before testing the system.
Interval is - 100000 kms On the 1996-97 replace it every 60,000 miles. On the 1998-2000 replace it every 90,000 miles. Also replace the water pump which is driven by the cam belt. This is NOT an interference engine.
Repair or replace.
Have vehicle scanned to determine problem and have codes cleared
nope srry
Are you referring to a 200 model Metro? If so, there is no fuel filter to replace. 1998-2000 Metros have a fuel strainer in the tank. I have a 1999 Metro 3-cylinder and learned this over the summer when contacting the Chevrolet dealer. Are you referring to a 200 model Metro?
