TO CHANGE AN AIR FILTER ON A Cadillac SEVILLE DEPENDS ON WHAT YEAR THE CAR IS AND IF IT IS A "STS OR AN "SLS" FOR EXAMPLE MY CAR IS A 1995 CADILLAC SEVILLE SLS WITH A 32 VALVE NORTHSTAR V-8. TO CHANGE THIS AIR FILTER IS SIMPLE WHEN YOU HAVE THE HOOD UP LOOK TO THE RIGHT (DRIVER) SIDE OF THE ENGINE. IN THE RIGHT FRONT OF THE ENGINE IS A BLACK PLASTIC "SQUARE" AND A SHORT THICK HOSE THAT GOES TOWARD THE ENGINE. THERE SHOULD BE A "FASTENER" THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE HOSE AND THE BLACK SQUAREBOX.MORE THAN LIKELY YOU WILL NEED A FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER TO LOOSEN THE FASTENER. THEN THERE IS BLACK CLAMPS THAT HOLD THE BLACK SQUARE BOX IN PLACE. CAREFULLY PRY OPEN THE BLACK SQUARE BOX {BE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT DAMAGE THE BLACK CLAMPS}AND INSIDE IS THE AIR FILTER.AGAIN, DEPENDING ON WHAT YEAR AND MODEL TYPE "STS" "SLS" YOU CAN GO TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AUTO PARTS STORE FOR INSTANCE CHECKER AUTO PARTS (THIS IS WHERE I GO) AND THERE SHOULD BE A MANUAL MOUNTED ON THE SHELF THAT IS LOCATED IN FRONT OF WHERE THE AIR FILTERS ARE SOLD. SIMPLY LOOK UP WHAT YEAR YOUR CAR IS AND IT WILL ASK YOU IF IT IS AN STS OR SLS THEN IN HAS LETTERS FOLLOWED BY NUMBERS FOR EXAMPLE CA2976 AFTER PURCHASE JUST SIMPLY TAKE THE OLD FILTER OUR AND REPLACE THE NEW ONE CLAMP IT TOGETHER AND TIGHTEN OF THE SEAL.
No. Cabin filters were available in 1998 for Cadillac Seville.
The Cabin Air Filter is located underneath the drivers side, to the right of the accelerator.
No
The filter in on the top side of the engine, not underneath the car! It is behind and slightly below the air filter. You can literally reach down and loosen it by hand. Very easy to locate and change. I watched the guys at an oil change shop do it.
Underneath the air filter intake (plastic) shroud which needs to be removed for convenient access.
can you tell me if this problem is with a idle air valves control on this Cadillac Seville sls 1996
fallow the radiator hose under the air filter. you will have to lift the air filter. It's right there. the thermostat is locted on the intake on the left hand side in the rear of tne engine.
The inside air filter on a 2006 Cadillac DTS is changed by opening the access panel under the glove compartment and pulling the filter. A new filter can then be put in place and the panel closed.
what year car and whats the problem
Replace your spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Change oil and filter. Change air filter, pcv valve.02 sensor.
its in the fuse box
You can get it out but it ain't worth trying to get one back in, unless you're a Chineese acrobat. Dave Karr
